The Centre for Virtual Learning coordinates the development and distribution of instructional content by University faculty, while providing specialized support services for students and clear points of contacts for information and feedback.
The Open and Distance Learning Mode (ODLM) at KeMU is a mode of instruction which provides learners with an opportunity to access education and training off-Campus The Digital Campus Learning Mode targets self-motivated learners who are constrained by work, time or location, and allows them to study ‘anywhere, anytime’ so as to compete and excel academically in their areas of practice by accessing quality academia through a contemporary digital environment.
Distance learners take the same courses and examinations as regular students, but study off Campus (remotely) using a Learning Management System (Digital Campus) that enables them to interact with both their peers and lecturers.
Through the Centre for Virtual Learning (CVL), KeMU has invested in quality education content and instructors to ensure distance learners are provided with a learning environment that offers a real sense of what it would feel like to be at a physical campus.
We are delighted that you are studying with us and hope that you will both enjoy and benefit from your studies.
